Rebekah has had an interesting journey into Cyber and Information Security. After graduating from University with an undergraduate degree in Law with Criminology and an MSc in Public Policy, she started her career in the Civil Service on the Finance Fast Stream programme.

Rebekah was attracted to doing something intellectually challenging, enjoying problem-solving and doing something that would make an impact. Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Rebekah worked in various roles in the Civil Service, with her most challenging roles being in Counter Fraud and Covid related roles.

After nearly 7 years in the Civil Service, Rebekah was seeking a new challenge and was approached by Deloitte to work in Cyber Security, spending nearly two years working in Strategy before moving to Reliance Cyber where she is currently a Cyber Security Consultant working with a variety of clients mainly in governance risk and compliance.
