2. I've heard of ransomware

At present, the level of cyber risk in the UK is high. The increasing sophistication of attacks, frequency of their success and well-documented seven figure losses suffered by victims has led to many organisations asking "when" not "if" they will suffer a cyber incident. This session, based on real-life examples, provides an overview of the key considerations when responding to a major cyber security incident, and focusses on how to minimise legal and regulatory risks.

Key Takeaways from the session:
i. Have an understanding of 'cyber incident readiness'
ii. Know how to best minimise the legal risks posed by a cyber security incident
iii. Be aware of how to best comply with regulatory obligations
