Evidence from UK studies and more widely continue to indicate a pronounced shortage of cyber security skills, both within organisations and within the recruitment market. At the same time, there is often a good deal of confusion about what cyber security skills are needed, what they look like, and how to find them. Drawing upon latest survey evidence and examples, this presentation explores some of the challenges, and provides some pointers toward understanding the landscape of related knowledge, skills, and roles relevant in the cyber sector.
