UK Cyber Week Code of Conduct

UKCW provides a forum for open discussion between participants, where different viewpoints are welcome and robust and thorough debates are expected. However, insulting or harassing other participants is unacceptable. We want UKCW to be an inclusive, safe and productive environment for everyone at all times. It’s not about how much you know, what you do for a living or what you look like but how you treat each other that counts at UKCW.

We cannot accept harassment against any participant, for any reason. This includes deliberate intimidation and targeting individuals in a manner that makes them feel unwilling to participate, uncomfortable, unwelcome, marginalised or afraid.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. We reserve the right to respond to harassment in the manner we deem appropriate, including but not limited to, expulsion and referral to the relevant authorities.

This Code of Conduct applies to everyone participating at UKCW - from visitors, sponsors and exhibitors to speakers, press, staff or anyone else.

Anyone can report harassment. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact any member of the ROAR B2B staff – identifiable by their white badge. Or go to the registration desk, organisers office or sales office for support.

Event staff will be happy to help participants contact security or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of their visit.

Please remember UK Cyber Week is about working together to increase cyber security for everyone. There are different levels of understanding and expertise and all are welcome.
